$1 = 1 vote. Your votes determine who will be the HEADLINER of the 826LA BATTLE OF THE BANDS! The final lineup is determined by the amount of money raised; bands will play in order of their total funds raised. HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!!

Pledges over $30 are tax deductible and receive free admission to the live show on March 1!

The live 826LA BATTLE OF THE BANDS goes down at The Echoplex in Echo Park on MARCH 1st at 3PM.

Each set includes an original song with lyrics written by 826LA students, set to music by each band. AND WE GOT A GOOD ONE!!!

In addition, on JANUARY 31st, we will be having a FREE SHOW at On the Rox (above The Roxy). Please come early to guarantee free admission. We will be collecting cash/check donations as well! Please come and show your support

Seriously, we haven't had a show in over a year for several reasons... but this band from San Diego called Wendy Darling asked us to play a show with them at The Key Club on the Sunset Strip on October 9th.

We thought, why not?

So yeah, save the date, come see us. We'll post another reminder closer to the date...

Where: The Key Club (downstairs) - 9039 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles 90069
When: Thursday, October 9th, 2008. Show starts at 9:00PM.

21+. Sorry, I know The Key Club is generally all ages, but we had no control over this one.

I took my co-worker Jim up to the roof and did this... He wasn't in the video, but he was one of my "victims" in the evidence pile. This is a pre-shoot photo.

Another pre-shoot photo. Had to get a tattoo for this role... what an interesting night...

That's me (May) behind the dolly. (l-r) Frank Ramirez (Assistant Director), Dave Ly (Director), Patrick Crook (dolly grip), Aaron Biller (Cinematographer), Stefan Silvers (Gaffer). So this was before we started shooting because I still have my coat on...

I wish this picture really captured the awesomeness of the lighting in this room.

A cool picture I took of Michelle! We were waiting around for the crew to load in and let us into the 4th location (Aaron's apartment). Also in the picture is Chris, who is in the video, but he moved, so his face is blurry.

Final day of shooting... guerrilla style! Cy gave me that hat after the shoot. Yay!

Didn't get to take that many pictures since I was in front of the camera most of the time... and most of the ones that Cy took were really bad. I'm not sure how you can mess up so many pictures from a point-and-shoot camera, but that's what happened. Oh well. These are just teasers...

OOOweeee Baby!

We just spent the weekend with Director David Ly and an amazing crew from Art Center in Pasadena shooting our first major music video! It was such an incredible experience we still can't believe it. It's gonna be nothing short of brilliant -thats a promise.

Howdy Friends!

T-Giving was awesome! We shared thanks, good eats and made sweet music. While we are at it I want to thank the girls, Valente, Mark and the Street Team for coming through. A big thank you to Ashburn and Entourage as well!

I am really excited about finishing this project that has been along time coming. Everything always takes more work than it looks, but when you set your goals and you put your time in the outcome is always worth it. We still have more work to do, but I'm feeling great! I can't wait to get out on the road again play some shows, and meet new fans.

We definately earned a level-up!

Oh Happy Day!

Yesterday must have been my most productive Thanksgiving ever.
Turkey and pie aside, we laid down six tasty tracks in the studio.

I Love Halloween!

Something thrilling about the one day of the year we celebrate death and comedy while making ourselves sick on too much candy!

I think tonight the plan includes: margaritas, candy (of course!), and scary old movies. I can't remember the first Friday the 13th, but I'm sure it will come back to me.

Hi friends!

May here, making the first post on the official Eloise journal. This, along with our website (which will be launching soon), will be the place to get up-to-date info on what the band's up to-- STRAIGHT FROM THE BAND! This blog is maintained by us, so if it's on here, it's probably true.
